Size Guide

All ShObO pieces are made to order. Use this guide to find your standard size or share your measurements for a perfectly fitted custom piece. When in doubt, size up — we can always tailor down.

💡 Pro Tip: We add 4 inches of seam allowance to every piece — that's equivalent to two plus sizes of ease. This means your garment will never feel restrictive and can be taken in for a closer fit if needed.

How to Measure Yourself

👙 Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Do not pull tight — keep one finger between the tape and your body.

⌛ Waist

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Breathe out naturally before measuring.

🍑 Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, usually 7–9 inches below your natural waist. Stand with feet together.

📏 Height

Stand straight wearing the heels or footwear you plan to wear with the dress. Measure the vertical length from the top of your head to the floor — or to wherever you'd like the hem to fall.

Standard length is drafted for 5'5" flat. Always mention your footwear height when ordering.

Please share your current month measurements — bust, waist (at bump), and hips. We add extra ease for comfort and growth throughout your pregnancy.
